- Milwaukee in October tends to be mild-to-cool.
- Average high temperatures are in the mid-to-upper 60s, average lows in the upper-40s.
- Milwaukee falls tend to be crisp, dry and really lovely to see. We should be visiting the area just as the trees really hit some strong fall color!
- We’ll update as we get closer with more specifics about how MKE will look and feel during our time in Wisconsin.
As you prep your suitcase for #heweb19, know that dress at the conference is business casual – with a strong emphasis on the “casual.” Jeans, tees, khakis and comfy kicks are common, too, both during the conference sessions and at evening events.
Remember, session rooms can be chilly, so you may want to throw in a sweater for daytime wear.
Your first stop at HighEdWeb 2019 should be the registration desk in Wisconsin Center 102 Foyer. Check in to grab your conference badge, the important info you need, and your conference gifts/swag.
Note: For Annual Conference attendees registered for one of the Academies (Leadership, Content/UX, or Technical): Report to the Wright Ballroom Foyer on the Hilton’s fourth floor between 8:30-9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, to check in to your Academy. Academy planners will coordinate your Annual Conference check-in there.
When you check in at the registration desk, you will receive your conference ID badge. Your ID badge must be worn at all presentation sessions, meals, and all conference after-hour events. Your badge is your golden ticket of admission to all the fun, as well as your Conference program and your source for lots of critical information — so be sure to keep it handy!
